We pledge equipment reliability up to 7 years or 7 million copies. If your copier/printer can’t be repaired at your location, we’ll provide you with a loaner copier/printer of equal or greater capability while yours is being repaired off-site at no charge.*

If your copier/printer can’t be made to perform up to factory standards, we’ll replace it with a similar machine of equal or greater capability absolutely free.

*Continuous contracted Century Business Technologies’ service and supply program required. MFP doing less than 50 pages per minute are covered for 7 years or 2 million copies (whichever comes first). MFPs doing 50 to 70 pages per minute are covered for 7-years or 4 million copies (whichever comes first). Black and white MFP’s at speeds of 70-90ppm will be guaranteed for 7 years or 7 million copies (whichever comes first). Production black & white equipment at speeds greater than 90 ppm and color equipment at speeds of 65ppm or greater will be guaranteed for the lease term only. Off-lease and used equipment does not apply.

Service Department

  • Manufacture Certified Technicians:
    Each CBT technician has been fully trained and certified in all manufacturers Century offers: Ricoh, Sharp, Epson, and Kyocera.
  • Assigned technicians:
    You will have a primary tech who services your equipment for most of every service call. We believe that having the same technician working on your equipment time after time benefits you by having a tech that is familiar with your equipment and your needs.
  • Four-hour response:
    Committed to ensuring your needs are responded to in a timely manner. We typically arrive at your location within three hours of the call being reported.
  • Imaging Helpdesk:
    If you have questions about your equipment operation, please contact our help desk. They will gladly assist you with questions you might have about different machine functions, troubleshooting a problem, or connectivity issues. This can help you determine if you need to see your servicing technician or contact your IT services provider
  • Fully stocked parts and supply inventory:
    CBT is committed to keeping your equipment in full operating condition as quickly as possible. With our fully stocked inventory we will have your equipment back up and running in no time!

Requesting Service

All equipment will eventually need to be serviced. When that time comes you can request service through our customer portal, by emailing service@centuryks.com or by calling your area office at the telephone number listed on the sticker on the front of your machine. One of our friendly dispatchers will be happy to help you.

Please provide the Equipment ID Number for your machine, listed on the sticker next to the number to call. This number allows us to quickly pull up your information in our system so that we don’t need to ask you for numerous details. Let us know what type of problem you are experiencing and who the technician should contact. We will have your equipment up-and-running as soon as possible.

Ordering Supplies

 

When it comes time to order supplies like toner or staples, you have a few choices.

You can order supplies through our customer portal by emailing supply@centuryks.com or by calling in and asking for the supply department.

When ordering supplies, we will need the following information:

  1. Your equipment ID Number (located on the sticker on the front of your machine, which also shows the telephone number to call)
  2. Your name and telephone number
  3. The type and quantity of supplies you are requesting
  4. Any other information that you feel might be helpful

Our supply department will get you the supplies you need as quickly as possible.

Billing Questions

Meter Readings

We need to have meter readings from your equipment to provide accurate billing. We offer several options for collecting your meter readings.

  1. Century Print Management (Preferred)
    Our preferred method of collecting meter readings is to use Century Print Management. Once installed on your computer, this small program will allow us to collect the meter readings from your machine without the need for you to do anything. This saves you time and ensures that you meter reading is accurate.
  2. Customer Portal
    You can also provide your meter readings by entering them into our Customer Portal located on the web at centuryks.com. You can register for this service yourself. If you have any questions about this service, please contact Amanda Jackson at (785) 246-6613 or by email at Amanda.Jackson@CenturyKS.com. You may also use the Customer Portal to request service or supplies.
  3. Email
    If email is your preferred method of communication, you can send your meter readings to accounting@CenturyKS.com, service requests to Service@CenturyKS.com, and supplies requests to Supply@CenturyKS.com.

Contact Changes
We understand that changes in personnel are inevitable. We ask that you please let us know when you have changes in personnel that we might need to contact. These contacts would be the Meter Reading Contact person, the Equipment Contact person, the Billing Contact person, the IT Contact person, and the Decision Maker. By letting us know who these people are, there will be less confusion should we need to contact any of them for any reason.

Holidays
Century Business Technologies observes the following holidays and will be closed for business on those days. If the holiday lands on a weekend, we may be closed the Friday preceding or the Monday following the holiday.

Pay Invoices

Navigate to your client portal and to "Pay Invoices" on the left-side menu. Click "Aging" to pay particular invoices, or "Pay All" to pay all invoices at once.

A table of invoices will appear. Click the box(es) under "Pay" corresponding to the invoice(s) that you wish to pay, and then click "Pay" in the bottom right corner.

Choose your method of payment. If you have not yet provided a payment method, click "Use new payment method."

Pay by Credit/Debit Card. The "New Payment Method" window will appear. Under "Payment Type," select "Credit/Debit Card" and enter all account information requested. Click "Next."
A new window called "Net1 Payment Solutions" will open. Enter your card information and click "Submit." Please double-check your card number and expiration date.

Pay by Electronic Check. The "New Payment Method" window will appear. Under "Payment Type," select "Checking Account" and enter all account information requested. Click "Save."

Placing a Sales Order

Navigate to your client portal. Select the "Sales Order" tile.

Under "Items Included in Order," click "Add Items."

A "Find Items" window will appear. Choose how you would like to find the item that you're looking for. You can filter by your equipment, equipment category, your recent orders, all items, or a manual search.

Find what item(s) need to be ordered and enter the quantity needed. Click "OK."

The item(s) will appear in the "Items Included in Order" table. Verify the contents of the table, then click "Save."

Submitting a Meter Reading

Navigate to your client portal. Select the "Meter Readings" tile.

Scroll to the machine you want to submit a meter for. Choose the date that you read the meter.

Type the meter reading in the "New Reading" field. This will generate a popup. Verify the information and click "OK" to close the popup.

Click the "Submit" button at the top or bottom of the page to save your meter reading.

Placing a Service Call

Navigate to your client portal. Select the "Service Call" tile.

Click on the next to "Select Equipment/Item --" and choose the piece of equipment that requires service in the subsequent window.

Back on the Service Call screen, enter the equipment's issue in the "Description" field. When you are finished explaining the problem, click "Save" to submit the service request.
