Cloud computing technology

Cloud computing gives your company the ability to mobilize your workforce so your team can be productive anywhere on any device.

Century Business Technologies can consult with you on how to upgrade and plan for your organization's most effective cloud computing strategy.

"92% of businesses have a multi-cloud strategy in place or in the works."

Cloud Computing

With the cloud, working from home with the same applications and data you have access to at work is a possibility. And that’s a big deal.

Pain points solved with the cloud

  • Reduce Capital Expense and TCO
Cloud Services reduce capital expenses by eliminating the necessity to purchase computing infrastructure for these services and pay for updates and upgrades.

  • Increase Business Productivity and Efficiency
Increased business productivity and efficiency is realized by allowing business functions to continue regardless of location or device, so long as Internet connectivity is available.
  • Improve Collaboration and Security
Cloud Services fuel collaboration among teams as files, documents and data are available from anywhere, and data security is enhanced as it is encrypted and backed up to the Cloud.
  • Lower IT Maintenance and Support Costs
On going maintenance, patching, updating and support costs for CloudServices are borne by the upstream Cloud vendor, reducing the need for internal or 3rd party IT support for these services.

Implementation timeline

Depending upon the right Cloud Services for your organization, implementation, testing and go-live timelines will vary based upon several factors, including the type of Cloud architecture needed (private, public or hybrid), and the Cloud Services required (software as a service, infrastructure as a service or platform as a service).

Additional considerations include the level of security required, the number of users participating in
the Cloud Services and their roles and permissions, the devices that will be used to access the services, and the appropriate data backup strategy.

Step 1: Analysis

Cloud Discovery and Business Needs Analysis

A discovery meeting will be conducted to understand your business needs to prepare a requirements document. This phase should take no longer than a week to schedule and complete.

Step 2: Assess

Onsite Technology and Security Assessment

Following the business needs analysis, we will conduct onsite technology and security assessments to allow us to document the existing computing infrastructure and security posture. Depending on the size and complexity of your infrastructure, this could take as little as a few days to a few weeks.

Step 3: Architect

Architect Cloud Services Solution

Using the information gathered during the business needs analysis, technology, and security assessments, we will architect the appropriate cloud services solution to meet your requirements and design a project plan. This phase should take no longer than a few weeks to complete.

Step 4: Implement

Implementation, Testing, Training and Go-live

Once the cloud services project plan has been approved, scheduling of the implementation can begin. Once initial testing and QA is complete, your staff is trained on how to use your new Cloud Services. Once training is complete, a go-live date can be established. Depending on the project's complexity and other factors, this phase could take a few weeks to several months.
