The benefits are well worth the investment, and cloud computing success begins with choosing a reliable partner. Here's what you should take into consideration: #### 1. Available services Do you want to use your multifunction systems and scanner to route documents to cloud-based storage solutions and email? Are you hoping to automate workflows to make cloud storage a seamless, user-friendly process? Ask for an assessment of your needs to find out if the services offered are a good match for your requirements. #### 2. Security Security is a top concern for business leaders, and you'll need to get assurances from any potential cloud services provider. Ask about encryption, vulnerability assessments, and best practices designed to prevent hacking and data breaches. #### 3. Compliance Compliance requirements don't stop at your network; your company is also responsible for third-party compliance. SSAE 16 allows cloud service providers to disclose compliance processes. #### 4. Availability Cloud computing is a popular option largely due to its anytime/anywhere availability. A solution that's not ready when you need it or can't respond to a sudden request for more access won't do you much good. Look for a cloud service provider who can scale up in response to your growing requirements. #### 5. Reputation Finding a cloud services provider that focuses on your success is critical to your move to the cloud. Century Business Technologies is committed to long-term customer relationships.
